Στην τελική ευθεία βρίσκονται οι ετοιμασίες για το Βαλκανικό πρωτάθλημα που θα γίνει στο Βόλο στις 26 και 27 Ιουλίου.
Την Τρίτη (24/6) έγινε συνάντηση στο Δημαρχείο του Βόλου στελεχών του ΣΕΓΑΣ, του Δήμου Βόλου, της ΕΛ.ΑΣ, της Πυροσβεστικής Υπηρεσίας, του ΕΚΑΒ και άλλων φορέων προκειμένου η διοργάνωση του Βαλκανικού να είναι άρτια. Το Βαλκανικό πρωτάθλημα διοργανώνει ο ΣΕΓΑΣ, η Βαλκανική Ομοσπονδία, ο Δήμος Βόλου και η Περιφέρεια Θεσσαλίας.
Στη συνάντηση συζητήθηκαν θέματα που αφορούν την ασφάλεια, την φιλοξενία, την προετοιμασία του Πανθεσσαλικού σταδίου, τον εθελοντισμό, αλλά και την προβολή της διοργάνωσης όπως επίσης και λεπτομέρειες για την Τελετή Έναρξης.
Στη σύσκεψη μετείχαν ο αντιπρόεδρος του ΣΕΓΑΣ Δημήτρης Χαχάμης, ο ταμίας του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του ΣΕΓΑΣ Γιάννης Λιούμπας, ο Αντιδήμαρχος Αθλητισμού και Εθελοντισμού Γιώργος Βλιώρας, η Γενική Γραμματέας του Δήμου Βόλου Ελένη Γακιοπούλου, ο Αστυνομικός Υποδιευθυντής Διοικητής ΑΤ Βόλου Βασίλης Μπαλατσούκας, η Αστυνομικός Διευθυντής Α’ Υποδιευθυντής ΔΑ Μαγνησίας Ζωή Ζήνδρου, ο Μανώλης Δουρβετάκης Υπεύθυνος Ασφαλείας του ΣΕΓΑΣ Αντιστράτηγος ΕνΑ ΕΛ.ΑΣ, ο βοηθός Υπευθύνου Ασφαλείας του ΣΕΓΑΣ Αντώνης Χαρακίδης, η Αν. Προϊσταμένη της Δ/νσης Πολιτισμού Αιμιλία Κραβαρίτη, ο Γενικός Διευθυντής των αγώνων του ΣΕΓΑΣ Ανδρέας Γκόγκας, η Διευθύντρια αθλητικού τομέα του ΣΕΓΑΣ Μαρία Μπελιμπασάκη, ο Τεχνικός Σύμβουλος ΕΑΣ ΣΕΓΑΣ Θεσσαλίας Ηλίας Κορώνας, η Υπεύθυνη Εθελοντών ΣΕΓΑΣ Μίνα Σταυροπούλου, ο Υπεύθυνος Εθελοντών Δ/νσης Αθλητισμού Πέτρος Μπίρης, ο υπεύθυνος Φιλοξενίας Νίκος Ταλαδιανός, η υπεύθυνη Διαμονής του ΣΕΓΑΣ Κορίνα Κοτσολάκη και εκπρόσωποι της Πυροσβεστικής και του ΕΚΑΒ.
Στη συνέχεια έγινε επίσκεψη και στο Πανθεσσαλικό στάδιο όπου οι άνθρωποι του ΣΕΓΑΣ είδαν από κοντά τους χώρους. Η τελετή έναρξης του Βαλκανικού πρωταθλήματος θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Παρασκευή 25 Ιουλίου 2025 στην Παραλία του Βόλου.
Θα γίνει παρέλαση των χωρών όπου μετέχουν στη διοργάνωση επί της παραλίας και θα ακολουθήσει καλλιτεχνικό πρόγραμμα με χοροθεατρικό δρώμενο που επιμελείται η Αγγελική Μέλη και συναυλία με μελωδίες των Βαλκανίων της Ευανθίας Ρεμπούτσικα, την οποία θα συνοδεύσει η ορχήστρα της και 21 μέλη της Συμφωνικής Ορχήστρας Δήμου Βόλου με μαέστρο τον Ιωακείμ Μπαλτσαβιά. Την παρέλαση των Αθλητών θα συνοδεύσει η Φιλαρμονική Ορχήστρα Δήμου Βόλου με τον μαέστρο της Βασίλη Τασούδη.
Meeting at Volos City Hall for the final preparations of the Balkan Championship
Preparations for the Balkan Championship, which will be held in Volos on July 26 and 27, are in the final stretch.
On Tuesday (24/6), a meeting was held at Volos City Hall with executives from SEGAS, the Municipality of Volos, the Hellenic Police, the Fire Service, the Emergency Medical Service and other bodies in order to ensure the smooth organization of the Balkan Championship. The Balkan Championship is organized by SEGAS, the Balkan Federation, the Municipality of Volos and the Region of Thessaly.
The meeting discussed issues related to security, hospitality, the preparation of the Volos’ Panthessaliko Stadium’s, volunteering, and the promotion of the event, as well as details for the Opening Ceremony.
The meeting was attended by the treasurer of the vice president of SEGAS Dimitirs Hahamis, Board of Directors, Giannis Lioubas, the Deputy Mayor for Sports and Volunteerism, Giorgos Vlioras, the Secretary General of the Municipality of Volos, Eleni Gakiopoulou, the Deputy Police Director Commander of the Volos Police Department, Vasilis Balatsoukas, the Police Director First Deputy Director of the Magnesia Police Department, Zoe Zindrou, Manolis Douvretakis, SEGAS Security Manager, the Assistant Security Manager of SEGAS, Antonis Charakidis, the Deputy Head of the Sports Department, Elli Eleftheriadou, the Deputy Head of the Culture Department Emilia Kravariti, the Competition Director of SEGAS Andreas Gogas, the Athletics Director of SEGAS Maria Belibasaki, the Technical Advisor of the EAS SEGAS Thessaly Ilias Koronas, the SEGAS Volunteer Manager Mina Stavropoulou, the Sports Department Volunteer Manager Petros Biris, the Hospitality Manager Nikos Taladianos, the SEGAS Accommodation Manager Korina Kotsolaki and representatives of the Fire Department and the Emergency Medical Service.
A visit was then made to the Volos’ Panthessaliko Stadium where the SEGAS people saw the venues up close. The opening ceremony of the Balkan Championship will take place on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Volos Beach.
There will be a parade of the countries participating in the event on the beach, followed by an artistic program with a dance-theater performance curated by Angeliki Meli and a concert with Balkan melodies by Evanthia Reboutsika, accompanied by her orchestra and 21 members of the Volos Municipality Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ioakim Baltsavias. The Athletes’ Parade will be accompanied by the Volos Municipality Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Vasilis Tasoudis.
